DESCRIPTION
Welcome to "Mystical Blue," a captivating photo series that combines the enchanting allure of the mermaid trend with a modern and human touch. In this series, I aimed to create a mesmerizing atmosphere through the use of lighting techniques and the color blue, while keeping the model's humanity intact.
The inspiration for this series stemmed from the fascination with mermaids and their mythical charm. However, instead of portraying the model as a mythical creature, I wanted to emphasize her modern essence and individuality. Through deliberate poses, carefully selected wardrobe, and the captivating use of lighting, we were able to create a unique ambiance that balances the magic of the mermaid trend with contemporary aesthetics.
In post-production, I used advanced editing techniques, including Photoshop beta, to refine elements such as the model's hair, parts of the clothing, and parts of the backdrop. This allowed me to enhance the ethereal qualities of the images and add a touch of magic to the final results.
"Mystical Blue" is a celebration of creativity and imagination, blending elements of fantasy with a modern twist.
AUTHOR
Emá Tanée Fibiger studies communication design at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.
She is 24 years old and is currently living in Wiesbaden. Emá specializes in fashion and beauty photography, and also artfull films. Her heart beats for her private projects. The artistic and aesthetic demands are very important to her.
She is currently trying out many areas of digital possibilities and is also gaining experience in film and writing scripts. She takes on the role of camera, sound, editing, directing, scripting and also modeleling and acting in order to acquire many skills.
