Landscape nominee

I am 45 years new to this. I've been around photography all my life starting with a pinhole camera as a child. Then took black and white development and photography classes in 8th grade. Shot landscape, travel and architecture shots at that time. Later in life, after the kids moved on, I spent time globe trotting and taking great travel snaps. Now, about 90 days ago, I got serious and bought equipment, software, and took a lot of courses, entered challenges and feel confident enough to enter. I have a lot to learn. For one, a good milky way shot eludes me even though I've taken a few already.
