Especially in foreign areas I often go on nightly hikes.
The unusual lighting conditions and the absence of people at night, make new, interesting motives and perspectives present themselves in a new light, which would not be interesting in an everyday setting.
The resulting curiosity and calmness creates a meditative feel, which I want to display in these photographs.
Clear aesthetics, a centralized perspective, a sky with little to no markings and little depth put the motives and their near surroundings on stage-like display.
This stage is meant to give you as an observer the room to let your gaze wander and approach the motives with the same curiosity and calmness.
