Night nominee

We took photos . . . how and when and where we could. I was in art school, and they were open to experience. In a basement, in a garage, in a car. We always found that spot of emotional intensity, complexity, introspection and passion. For us, it was dropping in. These photos were created out of passion, out of expression, out of a hope for something better.

I am an amateur photographer living in Bend, Oregon. I graduated from the Art Institute of Portland in 2018, and have studied under note-worthy photographers. I have no awards and have never been in an exhibition. I am a 40 year old single mom who works in a restaurant. My photography work is truly born of passion.
