DIVING, 2022-2023
The horrors of war happening all around, loss of stability, sense of security, uncertain prospects for the future. Sometimes it remains only to delve deep into one's subconscious in order to find inner support despite external uncertainty. Feel the bottom to push off, rise to the top and swim further.
This series of photographs offers a journey into the subconscious world, illustrates the stages of accepting the reality of the war in Ukraine from despair and panic to finding a new point of support and the intention to move forward, not to postpone life for later and appreciate its beauty despite everything.
AUTHOR
Iryna Vlasiuk was born in 1985 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In recent years, much attention has been paid to art and the nude direction. Interested in issues of aesthetics and perception in the frame. Works with the topics of interaction between a person and the external environment, contact between people, feeling oneself in space, connection between the spiritual and the physical.
