Black and White Body by Jacinta is a project executed solely by myself, an emerging artist.
I entered the world of photography on the other side of the lens, starting as an Art Model in early 2021. It was when I relocated with my husband and two young children to Adelaide in mid-2021 that I decided to delve into the other side of capturing photographic art from behind the lens, maintaining an aesthetic and style that I find personally intriguing. Since this time, I have sought to apply photography as a means of exploring the self through both body and psyche, and believe that Fine Art Nude enables this in the most honest and impactful way. For this very reason, I am personally drawn to creating minimalist imagery, focusing mostly on the use of different light sources to create a sense of feeling and empowerment that engage the viewer to admire and wonder the beauty of the human form.
I have found photography has brought about a whole new perspective and appreciation for the natural body and I wish to share that and encourage others to see the human form, and themselves, in a different light.
