It has always been my dream to recreate impossible love through mythology, and I created this work with that in mind.
Legend has it that one of the many nights in which the goddess Diana was visiting the earth, she observed in the distance the figure of a beautiful shepherd who was sleeping peacefully after a hard day at work. Her admiration was such that she could not avoid the temptation to approach it to observemore closely. Looking at him just a few centimeters away from her, she felt that a feeling beyond fascination with the young man's beauty began to emerge inside him and because of these new found feelings she felt the enormous desire to kiss him. And getting close enough to place his lips on those of the sleeping boy, she managed to satisfy the immense need that invaded her. At that moment Endymion woke up dazzled by the beauty of his visitor, and Diana fled so quickly that the shepherd believed that everything was the fruit of his dreams and he remained thoughtful, completing the beautiful moon that was shining in the sky.
