I am fascinated by the way the wind envelops the human figure, creating a chaotic dance of flickering light that transports us into the realm of wonder and fantasy. When the wind is my ally, the captured image is enchanting evoking a sense of otherworldly beauty that defies words.

Time stands still. Silence falls and we plunge into the imaginary, the marvellous. Somewhere between classical portraiture and baroque fantasy, these photographs plunge you, as the wind blows, into the heart of my phantasmagorias.

Born in 1958 in the north of France, I am a self-taught photographer with a passion for photography. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting many professional photographers, an experience that has enriched my artistic career and helped me to progress.

Today, my artistic activities revolve mainly around portraiture and the human form. I have developed a distinctive approach using translucent screens as a support, on which I place various materials. My studio is located in Arras, France.

My work has been recognised, including winning first prize for amateur portraiture at the BEST Photography Awards 2022 and previously with publications of my books in 2011 and 2016, and also with some magazine publications. In addition, my portfolio includes a dozen solo exhibitions and participation in around twenty group exhibitions."
