The seemingly insurmountable contrast between nature and human technology has occupied me as a photographer for several years. Especially the mutual influence of stainless steel and other materials on small creatures fascinates me. With my pictures I want to take the viewer into a unique and unconventional macro world beyond everyday experience. With each image, the viewer enters a visionary space in which a short story is told about a living being from our technologised environment and in which the two worlds ultimately merge into a unique unity. During this process, images arise which possess an aesthetic and a manner of expression of a novel kind, and thereby enable the beholder to partake in a novel emotional experience.

Dr. Adam Neuba is a natural scientist, photographer, and artist whose distinctive style and photographic sensibility have emerged from an inquisitive and exploratory creative process. Adam was born in Poland and moved to Germany with his family in 1988 at the age of 10. After his school education he studied and graduated in chemistry at the University of Paderborn, where he currently works. More than 15 years ago he started to devote himself intensively to photography, and over time he discovered his passion for artistic close-up and macro photography. Through extensive planning and meticulous manual work, he creates macroscopic artworks that unite living organisms with technical components, as well as motifs from inanimate nature. More recently, he has focused on compositions involving metals, exploring their unique interplay with light to produce abstract and visually striking images. Each of his pieces is crafted with exceptional care and attention to detail, reflecting both scientific precision and artistic vision. Neuba’s work has been featured in numerous publications and recognized with photography awards around the world.
