G201 was the number of the train I was on and the journey started from my hometown Weifang to Qingdao, the city where I now live. On the train I looked out of the window at the changing scenery and thought about my own personal experiences. Nowadays, China has a huge influx of young people from the countryside into modern cities.This train does not only go from the countryside to the city it represents the life trajectory of young people born in the countryside after the nineties, from the countryside to the first tier cities, which is part of the urbanisation process in China.
