Madame Richard Tucker becomes DebAuchery (Series)
DESCRIPTION
I worked with Alex at the Stihl Whiskey Bar in Bend, Oregon. She was teaching me to bartend and I was a lowly server. Alex was the leader of a trans performance group, The Cult of Tuck . . . they used to sell out every show. Initially, Alex was Madame Richard Tucker . . . and then further into our friendship she became DebAuchery. We took these photos in a studio I built in my house during the first covid shutdown. Deb died last year due to complications with diabetes. These photographs are dedicated to her and all that she stood for and the barriers she was breaking down, and the really really raucus and raunchy performances she would give. They were an inspiration
