My partner had met the subject who is a performer and artist in his own right and a wonderful person with incredible presence and energy.
So naturally we jumped at a chance to try and do a shoot with him!
We discussed outfit and ideas and we knew we had a perfect location where huge red wood trees grew.
Once on location rather than pose most of the shoot I asked if the subject would just feel free to connect with the space and perform if he’d like too.
This turned into an incredible experience with the subject performing with various instruments and incredible vocals we drew a large crowd behind us as I was shooting him with the freedom to move and capture him creatively.
I have edited the images to best show him as a perceived him and he loved the images.
It was a magical day and a fantastic shoot.
A lot of the work was in the editing but I love the final result.
