Portrait nominee

The self-portrait becomes a powerful tool for self-exploration, allowing me to delve into the depths of my being. In this photograph, I manage to identify and confront my own inner world, where my fears, desires, and what terrifies me are manifested. This inner image, which could well be described as a "hell," I embrace with courage and recognize it as an endless source of inspiration. In this sense, I pay homage to the work of the legendary artist Edvard Munch, who masterfully captured the complexities of the human soul.

My artistic work is a fusion of my personal vision, imagination, and various visual references. I aim to reveal the dark and corrupted side of the human condition, emerging from the shadows to confront the duality between ugliness and beauty. These two seemingly antagonistic elements converge in my work to provoke deep reflection on the world we inhabit. Through my artistic lens, I seek to bear witness to the decay of contemporary life, exploring the darkest and most complex aspects of our existence.
