DESCRIPTION
This photograph was taken in Tahit, the name of the wave is Teahupoo, considered one of the most powerful waves in the world.
It can reach more than 15feet tall walls, when the waves reach the shallow reef, all the energy carried within the wave for thousands of miles are released in a fraction of seconds, creating this big liquid explosion, nature raw power at its best.
Been able to witness this moment from a boat just a few feet away and feel all that energy is a unique and very scary experience.

My passion is the ocean, its movements, power, energy and life.
But as I can not be in the water all the time, I also spend my time traveling and exploring different places and cultures all over the world.
Been in an unknown place with my camera in my hands waiting for that special and unique moment is what keeps me moving.
Some of the special places in my heart, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Tonga, Tahiti, Siberia, Australia and Brazil.
