Wildlife / Animals 3rd place winner

A lone wildebeest rises above the herd, as they enter the Mara River. These animals are continuously on the move as they search for fresh grass, and need to regularly make the dangerous trip across the river. This involves fighting the strong current and the local predators, and many animals lose their lives during this movement.

I am a wildlife and nature photographer specializing in safari animals, especially large cats. My work has been recognized by the International Photography Awards, NANPA, Share the View, WildArt, and others.
