I've been lucky enough to have visited Africa a handful of times. I'm mesmerised everytime, by the irreverance and yet the elegance of the Big Cats. In my last few visits, having enhanced my EV compensation technique, I knew that shooting these wild and irreverant cats in a high contrast style of light/dark would give me the elegance I was after, hence juxtapositioning their power and elegance alongside the magic of the African sun.

I was born in South India and have lived most my life in Mumbai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Wellington and London. Recently I've been exploring the natural world more and I photographing wildlife peaceful, exciting and satisfying. I'm very passionate about how the human race is affecting the planet, and am concscious I'm living in one of the most wildlife depleated countries in the world and hope through my photography not only can I record the beauty within but also highlight the risks in turn.

It is an honour to document what I see, and be able to share it with others.
