Created alongside the image 'Ebony Elegance' I wanted to create was a nice fresh shot of my Wire haired Dachshund Walter with his fresh trim. I always think he looks simply dashing when he’s all neat and tidy. While looking super dapper I knew I wanted this one to be a straight on headshot. He always looks super serious when focused on a ball. So I used that to my advantage to try and capture a striking portrait of him staring down the lens.
The main editing was clean up of the coat & contouring the subject. Still keeping within the fine art style I was aiming for. I must say the background colour also perfectly matched Walter’s coat.
