I try to embraced the concept of “Consciousness Creates Reality” in my approach to photography. Maintaining the stance of an unbiased observer, I immersed myself in the essence of every place I encounter, capturing its myriad perspectives without the constraints of pre-defined notions or boundaries. This approach allowed for the creation of photography with an abstract and painterly quality.
My focus was on capturing the often-overlooked scenes and objects of a place, such as weathered walls, abandoned doors, and traces of human interaction, to explore the visual language of time. These elements embody the history and memories that converge in the present, revealing themselves in unexpected forms.
This series "Burning Light" was captured through seeing the fire burns on an old abandon wood wall surface which I found fascinating with the natural formed colors and pattern on it, like different sizes of flames are burning on the wood surface.
Thru photography, I would like to transcend the reality by infusing the works with elements of imagination, emotion, and frequency, thus reinvigorating the everyday world in visual art.
