Being a little girl, growing up in my faith in an abusive household, I had to make a choice. With a religious figure showing me that even “holy” people can abuse and hurt, my faith faltered. If you were so holy, then why weren’t you safe? This series is an ode and iconography to the realization through escapism that I have a relationship with a Heavenly Father that was not predicated by my earthly one. From the home I grew up in, to the room I hid in, to the escapism that helped me find my beliefs, I have grown. I have met people with similar experiences and can see deep gaping wounds that have yet to have been healed. The earthly projection of Christianity inflicting pain instead of the healing it was called to bring.

With a creative mind and ambitious work style, my experiences have placed me across the globe as a photographer and retoucher. Photography and retouching go hand and hand in my creative process as I orchestrate cinematic and powerful images that tell a story in the highest quality. Working with clients such as National Geographic photographer Suzi Eszterhas, Kings Hawaiian, Photographers forum, and more, I have enjoyed a long history of creative endeavors with great clientele. Furthermore, my work has been seen in galleries such as the Mint Museum, the International Photography awards Judges top picks and more.
