Mayfly (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The photographs is from the book Mayfly. The images are photographed with different polaroid film that is either expired or damaged in various ways.
The motifs and the damaged surface capture how we all belong together and how strong and at the same time fragile life can be. In image after image, the aura lives on both the physical moment when the image was taken and what it creates through its random chemical noise, or the delicately flaking image surface that as often as it enchants us with its illusion, shows the conditions of life on earth.
