Capturing the unspoken bond between a mother and her child is a privilege. A portrait showcasing the beauty of breastfeeding isn't just about photography—it's about celebrating the nurturing connection that transcends the lens. As a postpartum doula and passionate photographer, I've witnessed the profound benefits of breastfeeding firsthand.
Beyond a stunning image, it's about advocating for the physical and emotional advantages this natural bond provides. Breastfeeding isn't merely nourishment; it's a remarkable source of immunity, fostering a strong mother-child relationship and aiding in the baby's healthy development.

My name is Carmen, and my photographic journey began in Mexico in the 90's. I am grateful to have had one of my images published in the magazine "Tierra Adentro" and to have showcased my work in two exhibitions at UABC. One of my proudest moments was photographing and publishing the portrait of the author of the book "Prepare for Contact' in The United States. Recently, I ventured into fine art photography, particularly drawn to capturing portraits. Participating in competitions, like the Portrait Masters Award, has been both challenging and rewarding. I've been fortunate to receive four bronze mentions and one silver. For me, competition isn't about winning but about pushing myself to improve my craft and technique. I am passionate about photography and continually strive to grow as an artist.
