Three different waterscapes located in the state of GA. One, the old lighthouse outside of Savannah, GA called 'Cockspur Lighthouse.' I hiked for a few miles to achieve a photo of it. I love all lighthouses and this tiny, almost decrepit lighthouse stole my heart. It's a symbol of what was while still standing and almost waiting to guide the next ship safely to shore.
I titled the next one, "Small Creek." There are many tiny waterways like this in coastal GA. You'll drive and see hundreds, if not thousands of them stretching for miles. They strike me as a mixture of soft beauty and melancholy. And then there are the birds. The water birds dot the landscapes, flitting here and there, giving more life to the mysterious swamps.
I titled the next one "White Bridge Over Water." This scene was photographed at Magnolia Gardens near Charleston, SC. I followed this blue heron a few hundred feet before he plopped in the water and began his hunting routine. He stood so still for so long he was almost invisible. I thought the way he stood in front of the peaceful, almost Monet-like scene, was so captivating and serene.
