Cheddar Gorge - Horseshoe Bend (Single)
DESCRIPTION
This amazing place was once voted one of the seven wonders of Britain. You can see why, just standing there watching cars fly past and mountain climbers ( Adam Hill and Peter Belfield) lights going up the side of the gorge was a sight to behold. I went there just on the instruction of a friend. she told me it is very dark in the evening so I took my torch I am so glad I did, because I had to do a five minute exposure while I lit up the whole gorge with my torch.
AUTHOR
My name is Paul Carruthers I am a professional Landscape\Fine Art photographer based in Devon.
I picked up a camera about 25 years ago after a serious injury.
I used my images to improve my graphic design but soon realised people where talking about my photos held within my designs. So I decided to concentrate solely on my photography, reading and learning as much as I could.
I was approached by a Gallery in The Bluecoat Chambers in Liverpool about fifteen years ago to sell my work and the rest as they say is history.
I won The British Life Photography Awards 2017 and I have been shortlisted for The British photography Awards for the last two years. I have also had many other shortlisted and honourable mentions. Most Notably for the Monochrome Awards for the last two years.
