Sebastian Magnani's photographic series "Between Realities" explores the blurred boundary between virtual reality and the physical world, highlighting how advanced technology is reshaping our perception of reality. Staged as nude portraits in nature, an allusion to the Garden of Eden, the works also suggest that in a way we have been constructing our own version of reality from the dawn of civilization. Tracing a line from a time of innocence to one of illusion, the series raises questions about truth and authenticity in the context of technological momentum.

Born 1985 in a small village in Canton Valais, Switzerland, surrounded by mountains, Sebastian Magnani discovered photography whilst training as a media designer in 2006. After 5 years as a creative in an advertising agency, he decided 2011 to turn his passion into a profession. Since then he has been making a living as a photographer, based in Zurich Switzerland.
