My interest is constantly projected on the imagination, research and nature. The first pillar of our mind is the image, my artworks are mainly based on the instinct of the visual mind.
Nature and hiking are integral parts of my creative process, I'm always looking for inspiration; discovering new corners in the woods, touching an old tree, walking barefoot on damp moss, feeling one with the universe, returning to the earth, observing how nature with grace and mystery takes possession of everything.
This is why I experience excursions as real adventures, in total freedom, following my instinct, getting dirty, taking the time to contemplate and absorb, identifying myself with characters from past history, experiencing every place I explore as a receptive tool. I believe that today more than ever every human being needs to reconnect with nature, and he can only do that if he connects with himself.
The characters of my artworks, suspended between the real and the surreal, are instruments of interior resonance that speak to the beholder, and do so through dreams and nightmares, allegory and fable.
Through the symbology of the unconscious I highlight what is hidden from the human conscience.

Elisa Scascitelli was born in Italy in 1989.
She is a creative and visionary Artist in Fine Art and Fairytales Photography.
But she just loves calling herself a Fantastic Worlds Explorer.
Exploration, nature, forests, mystery, the continuous questions without answer, the "you don't know" those are sources of inspiration that persistently leak in her artworks.
Labyrinthine nature of the artist is intertwined with the arcane, with the dreamlike and mythological symbolism, mixing like color on a painter's canvas.
