This digital photographic collage depicts a set of mushrooms in a magical landscape. It aims to capture the magical and mysterious essence of mushrooms, often overlooked in our daily environment. This proposal is part of a contemporary artistic approach and in a context of growing awareness of the importance of preserving our natural environment. I chose to magnify mushrooms in order to remind the public of the richness and fragility of the biodiversity that surrounds us. Using digital tools, I created a magical landscape that highlights the diversity of shapes, colors and textures of mushrooms.
I seek to reveal the beauty and importance of these underappreciated organisms and to inspire a sense of wonder in the viewer. This digital photographic collage thus constitutes an artistic approach that is both aesthetic and ecological, aiming to awaken admiration for nature and encourage environmental awareness.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Through her photographic practice, Christel Jeantheau seeks to reconnect humans to the biodiversity that surrounds them, as the 6th mass extinction is underway. The grandeur and decadence of human constructions, neopaganism, and alternative lifestyles inspire her. Three of her shots won the 3rd prize in the 2017 photo competition in Verniette (France), before being exhibited in Sarthe. In 2021, she created a digital collage on the connection between urbanism and natural spaces in the Nantes Metropolis, which was distributed as part of the Citizen Convention of Nantes Metropolis. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she photographed mushrooms within her confinement area. In the photo book "Vies de Champis," she stages them as subjects of their own stories. Since 2022, she has been a permanent artist at the Anne Clace Gallery, with which she has exhibited in France and abroad (Switzerland, Luxembourg). In 2023, she also participated in collective works in Broadway and Miami (USA). Through her eco-responsible proposals, she questions the sustainability of human creations, explores the link between life and finitude, and emphasizes the importance of preserving the environment.
