Young Malevi told me she was bullied physically and mentally for years because of how she looked, but as a fashion student has managed only recently to engage socially with confidence and courage. The creepy crawlers (100% real) signify those who bullied Malevi throughout her life and her impervious gaze lets us know that she is no longer unsettled by their actions or presence.
