Portrait nominee

The Scars - loss of the own body wholeness, loss of the inseparability feeling - leave notes of death after them. The Scars often signalize a fight for life - a fight that was preceded by an accident where the life could be lost. That's why all the Scars have their own stories, and often those stories of fight - fight despite the circumstances and obstacles. For each hero of this photo project, there are scars not only on their bodies - background buildings on photos also symbolize the hero's personal Scars and personal reproduction of the experience they endured. It's like a projection of personal state to the building which has also gotten its wounds and damages. Initially, we see a portrait of a person who has got some Scares from this war - physical Scares, or Scares in its psycho-emotional state. The second photo shows a portrait of a building, where a person plays the role of background now.

I am 37 years old and I live in Ukraine.
I have been doing photography since 2010, especially I like to photograph in the nude style. I also really like taking pictures of social photography - raising uncomfortable questions for our community.
I had 6 personal exhibitions in the city of Nikolaev, Ukraine.
