The Accountant (Single)
DESCRIPTION
During about a year I parked myself at Honest Al´s Barbershop on Southside, Stockholm. It is hands down the quaintest barbershop in town and as it goes only frequented by bearded me. It´s a very small place with limited space for setting up lighting and such. As it turned out the community feel of the place contributed heavily to customers agreeing to pose for a portrait. Every time someone agrees to share a moment and allow me take their portrait, I feel it´s a gift. This time was no different.

EXIBITION 2023 STOCKHOLM
After too many years of not getting the concept of life and living right I traded my camcorder for a digital camera in 2012, went to Africa and discovered I was meant to be a photographer. Since then, I´ve managed to hang on to the art of photography as to a lifeline.
The following years I tried every possible style of photography and went from finding people's portraits intimidating to fully embracing it. Today I´m proud to call myself a portrait photographer.
Out of work at the beginning of 2019 I started to apply for jobs as a freelancer. I knew I was a decent photographer, but I had no idea whether I would do well for commercial work. Self-taught and with nothing to really gauge my skills against, I was thrilled to immediately get signed by two agencies for corporate portraits and for animal photography.
At my age, if you are to stand any chance of fulfilling the ultimate dream of recognition then there´s not time to pursue every idea you get. That need to focus as an artist unapologetically pushed me to find my style, my voice.
