For over 35 years, David Magee has been creating pictures, Outside, in the landscape. Working primarily before dawn and in the darker hours. His visual language is one of intimacy and speaks of the humbling magnitude of Nature.
His works are not by definition landscapes, more his creative observations and interpretations of the Natural World, it’s spiritual and physical energy, it’s majesty and it’s essential mystery. They are evocative places of rest and contemplation, that reflect the feeling of being Outside, in isolation and communion with the landscape.
The pictures presented in this Series are previously unpublished. This collection represents an intimate journey. Pictures created over the duration of two years, involving countless visits, observations and explorations of the Natural Elements at play at - The Old Head of Kinsale, West Cork, Ireland.
