In febrary 2020, admidst Bangkok's bustling streets, i captured a captivating moment of a discreet urban dweller, the Stpotted Owlet.
By day, it sought refuge on a withered branch, keenly spying on the city's hustle. Back then, i used to observe it often, but due to Covid, i had to return to Europe. Sadly, i later learned that the branch was destroyed for safety reasons, fearing i'd never seen them again. Yet, during my 2023 exepedition to Thailand, joy overwhelmed me as I spotted them awnew, nestled in a different tree.
Nature's resilience amidst the concrete jungle touched my heart. As the sunset, this timid creature emerges for its nocturnal adventure, stealthily pursuing insects and rodents infesting the city.
