Wildlife / Animals nominee

Diving in the Red Sea in 2024, I encountered a lone dolphin. The dolphin is now well know in this area and regularly approaches and interacts with humans. Wildlife interactions or encounters can leave a lasting impression, for many this encounter would be a lifelong dream; whilst I feel very lucky to have encountered the dolphin, I am reminded that when we exit the deep and return to our own lives we leave them as they were before. Alone, away from their kind.
