Abstract nominee

Inspired by the beauty of nature, I started searching for unusual, natural forms whose shape and expression would go beyond the conventional framework of interpretation of the reality surrounding me. Thus, breaking the established patterns and discovering the surroundings from an aerial perspective, I recorded unique and fleeting images, showing unusual faces of nature. Surprising compositions revealed to me the complexity, mystery and beauty of the ecosystems existing right next to me. In this way, I created my own photographic series "(Un)earthly human faces", in which each photograph constitutes a unique universe, presenting a previously unknown world. The photographs I have selected from the indicated series entitled "They are watching", "The woman in a headscarf", "The revenant", "The avatar" and "The birth of Homo sapiens" present human faces in abstract forms. Compositions created by nature form images we know, in which we find human features and shapes. As humans, we are part of the world of fauna and flora around us, which is why nature takes care of us, summoning our faces in its own unique way.

I am a Polish photographer. My personal project "The Flying Tales" was born out of my passion for aviation, traveling and exploring new places, in which I present the world around me exactly as I see it. A special place in my work is occupied by abstract aerial photography, thanks to which I give existing images completely new meanings. This is how my original photographic series are created. An unconventional view and the need to constantly search for unique compositions in the space around me enable me to bring out hidden images and create unique narratives.
