This photo was taken on a spring afternoon in Katowice, Poland, over the iconic Spodek arena. I captured this image to highlight the striking contrast between the post-communist architecture of the Spodek, which resembles a spaceship, and the working-class skyline of the city. The scene, featuring a lone figure seemingly connecting with an extraterrestrial presence above Spodek, was inspired by the mysterious and otherworldly atmosphere of the location.
