Lenticular (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The work features a familiar container wrapping a mouse, symbolizing the creature that supports everyday life. The title incorporates the word “Lenticular” (which refers to images that change depending on the angle) to convey the idea of shifting perspectives on life. The motif is inspired by “The Path of Parting,” a scene from The Tale of Genji. A total of 18 conceptual art pieces were presented.

A contemporary artist based in Tokyo. Rooted in conceptual art, they create works using various techniques and also engage in photography. They believe that taking risks is sometimes essential, stating that “art is a way of expressing life, and it has no end.” In May 2024, they will unveil new works for the first time in 15 years.
