Fine Art nominee

I often find I have flowers in my garden which are too small or short for vases. I pick these and place them in a bowl of water. I didn't have time to photograph them so I started freezing them and photographing them later. I liked the white ice contrasting with the black background which also made the colours of the flowers really bright. Continuing this process throughout the year I have a beautiful set of these showing the flowers I have grown.
