"Emergence in Red" captures the intensity of moments as they surface from shadows into striking crimson light, exploring themes of resilience and transformation. The series weaves through cycles of change, unified by a vibrant red palette that reveals beauty in transition.

With a Master’s in Physics and an international career in the technology sector, Alva Martin's photographic practice is situated at the intersection of digital immediacy and silent contemplation, positioning itself at the center of contemporary photography debates. The use of a mobile phone as his primary working tool allows him to combine scientific rigor with a poetic sensibility, exploring how technology shapes our interpersonal relationships and the way we experience our surroundings.

He complemented his education in 2022 with the Professional Photography Course at EFTI, and with the PHotoespaña Master's in Photographic Projects in 2024. His work has received notable recognition, including selection for the Premios de Fotografía Fundación Enaire 2024 and the Official Selection of the International Photography Awards 2024. His work has been published in Issue 30 of Dodho Magazine, September 2024, as well as in the books Fine Art Awards 2024, Color Awards 2024, Monochromatic Awards 2024, Portrait Awards 2024 and Fine Art Awards 2023, all by Dodho Magazine. He has exhibited his work in the collective exhibition Tránsitos at the Centro de Arte de Alcobendas, as part of PHotoespaña 2024, and at FFoco, VIII Photography Festival of A Coruña.
