Fine Art nominee

This series, originally 10 photographs, was shot on a visit to the Faroe Islands in March 2024. All images were shot on film (Ilford Delta 100) with my trusty Hasselblad 500C. So sad that there is no analog/film category for this contest. Anyway, shooting this insane landscape with the limitations of just 12 exposures per film made me calm down, take the time to carefully compose and meter before releasing the shutter. In this day and age that digital photography allows you to shoot in burst mode, it is quite a calming experience to practice slow photography and meticulously shape photographic art works.
