Flowers submerged into water, with acrylic inks.
I have always found nature interesting and over the years tied to take images of flowers differently, In the past I have frozen flowers, but my freezer is a little small :-). so this year I have been experimenting with submerging flowers into water. From the bumble beginnings to today, the process has grown.
I use food containers to hold the water, Acrylic inks to colour the water and syringes to drop inks into areas. A strobe is used to light the subject.
My intension is to give the flower a dreamy feel, with a sense of movement, using colour as a means of bring attention to the finished photographic image.
