Combining my ‘Silver Series’ with my 'ballerino-Series' – Always like shooting dancers, I had so many dancers already passing in my studio, hip hop dancers, ballerina’s, … all from the best Dance schools in Belgium and Europe. So elegant every time. But one common thing in mostly all my previous shoots: it were every time girls. I had one talented boy once, but this is already so long ago now.
So when I had this question of Jason, a boy, far away from Holland, but following school in the prestigious ‘Royal Ballet School Antwerp’ I knew I wanted to do this.
And so we agreed to do this shoot … and I decided to finally try with him this silver paint I had already for so long but never used before.
I did let Jason dance … he danced on a half square meter, almost all improvisation. But it was amazing, so beautiful, so elegantly, so emotional to watch.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
My photography is known for my contemporary, experimental and conceptual Fine Art portraits with children.
My photographic style is sometimes emotional, stylish and simple: I like to photograph dancers, ballerinas, gymnasts, contortionists ... , lately mainly elite athletes, emphasizing the elegance of the 'human body' starting with the pure body yourself. Beauty in artistic human lines, muscles, the play of light and shadow on this, where their movement or pose makes the image so pure.
My photographic style can also be called conceptual: building a whole set with old props and clothes.
But above all, my style can be called contemporary and experimental: what could be more beautiful than photographing my model, half girl, half clay statue, assuming a pose that only she can do. What could be better than using props to make my photos surreal.
