Most of all, as a photographer, I take selfportraits. I use them as a means of exploring individuality, vulnerability, and transformation. Each image is a dialogue between me and my perception of the world, a visual manifestation of the complexities that hide behind the surface.
For me, selfportraits are reflections on the absurdity
of modern life, our desires, our masks. Who are we when we try to define ourselves, when we pose, when we are looked at with our own eyes? My selfportraits are an ironic study of the paradox in which the visible self is never the real self.
This selfportrait is a photo with a mosaic of glass and beads superimposed on it.
