An old tractor stands as a testament to time and the unforgiving elements that have shaped it over the years. Weathered and worn, its once vibrant paint now faded to hues of rust and earthy orange tones, the tractor rests stoically where it ceased to move long ago.
The scene evokes a sense of isolation and endurance. The tractor, a relic of agricultural history, now serves as a silent observer of the ever-changing landscape it has become a part of. Its presence against the backdrop of salt lakes symbolizes resilience in the face of nature's forces, embodying the quiet strength of objects left behind by time.

AUTHOR
Connecting with Boodja (Country) is such an important aspect of my photography. It is such a contrast to feel very grounded in a landscape while viewing it from an aerial perspective. While drone photography has enabled us to capture landscapes in a new medium, it is important to acknowledge that this perspective has been documented by Aboriginal peoples for thousands of years.
The colour, pattern and texture of the diverse, ever-changing landscapes of Western Australia always astounds me. Often these aspects are not visible when driving through flat areas of the Wheatbelt, Mid West and Goldfields regions. My drone work contains aspects of photographic realism and abstract notions. Through exploring and photographing Country from an aerial perspective my aim is to share the beauty of the land, and let the subject matter speak for itself.
