Mont Saint Michel is one of the most visited tourist destinations in France, attracting millions of tourists and professional photographers alike. I aimed to capture the morning and evening light at Mont Saint Michel, creating a series of images that reflect its ethereal beauty. Using various filters, I infused a surreal quality into the photographs, showcasing the changing splendour and subtleties of nature.
In the polyptych, lines connect the images, forming intersections between the sky, water, paths, and bridge. The arrangement of Mont Saint Michel’s tower tops adds to this connection, creating a sinuous flow that weaves between the spires, inviting the viewer to explore the harmony of the scene.
