To be aware of the environment, shouldn't we be aware of the hidden parts of the landscape ? How can I understand the river landscape if I don't see how it extends under the surface ? What will I find there? What shapes? What funds? What is happening there ?
I like to travel rivers to discover and photograph new aquatic landscapes. I observe and i fell another temporality, slower, more extended. Another world, with other colors, other textures, other movements, other perspectives. Something that escapes human time and questions it.
I took this series of photographs in the Serein River, in Burgundy (France).

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Photographer for more than 10 years, I was trained in photojournalism in Paris and member of the Hans Lucas agency from 2017 to 2023. I worked for a few years for the press and was very interested in the representation of work and long time manufacturing processes. I was awarded for a work carried out on a harpsichord manufacturer (photographic and sound production). Today I am developing a more artistic photography and I am particularly interested in the question of landscape and the interaction between man and his environment. I also develop aquatic photography as another representation of the landscape.
