Night nominee

"Capturing the Stars" is a visual journey through the vastness of the night sky, where infinity meets detail. This project aims to immortalize celestial elegance in all its complexity, playing with starlight and the interaction between sky and earth. The aim is to reveal the hidden beauty of the night ice, bringing out details that are impossible to grasp with the naked eye. To create these images, different instruments such as wide-angle lenses, telephoto lenses and telescopes were used, combined with dedicated high-sensitivity astrophotography cameras. The project includes various long exposure photography techniques, time blanding, composition and post-production software dedicated to this type of photo. "Catching the Stars" is not only a celebration of the natural beauty of the night sky, but an attempt to explore our relationship with the infinite. Inviting the viewer to reflect on the cosmic mystery and our role within it.

I am an Italian astrophotographer passionate not only for night photography, but also for landscape photography. I love astrophotogrphy because it is like having a time machine always at hand that reveals the wonders of the cosmos.
