Night nominee

While I spend the night in an overnight hide, these buffaloes come to drink at the waterhole.
The hide is located in a private game reserve, named Zimanga, located in the middle of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. This private reserve is oriented towards bird and wildlife photography. Special hides have been built to photograph all kinds of birds and wild animals in ideal conditions. This hide is buried in the ground so that I can see the buffaloes at eye level.

Since my early childhood I have been very interested in nature and especially birds. It was long confined to birdwatching. Only about 10 years ago I started with wildlife photography. The combination of birdwatching and wildlife photography has become a great passion. I like to share my wildlife photos with a large audience to make people aware of the many beautiful things nature has to offer.
