Nudes nominee

This series of pictures captures the beauty and sensuality of Dorka, a Hungarian model with whom I’ve shared several years of creative collaboration. Set against a minimalist backdrop, a vivid red circle evokes the image of a rising or setting sun, a symbol of life and renewal. Dorka’s pale, almost translucent skin carries a soft purple hue, illuminated in a way that draws attention to the elegance of her body while leaving much of it in shadow. The interplay of light and darkness enhances her natural curves, creating a serene visual narrative.

In each picture, Dorka strikes a distinct pose, her body flowing effortlessly through the frames. Her presence is both delicate and strong, an embodiment of grace. The simplicity of the setting contrasts with the depth of her expressions and movements, inviting the viewer to see beyond the surface and into the intimate quietness of her beauty. The red circle, bold and striking, frames Dorka’s sensuality without overshadowing it, allowing her body’s natural elegance to take center stage. This series speaks to the timeless themes of femininity, strength, and the quiet power of human beauty, expressed in a minimalist composition.

It all started when I moved to Germany in 1990 and started to work with amateur models. I learned nude photography with the professional photographer Arboulan in the late 90s. As of 2004, I further learned from the Hungarian artist Szeni Jung. I then decided to start my project Venusonearth, including my own website, being a member of photo communities, and participating in foto contests.
My first ambition was to get printed in the French magazine PHOTO. I succeeded in 2007 and got printed eight times since. I then focused on my main project (2012-2017) and built a portfolio of nudes and portraits with the amateur model Julia who became my first muse.
After more than 30 years, I am still a passionate amateur photographer. Through my work with more than 100 models, I've succeeded in organizing one exhibition in Miskolc, Hungary, and getting international recognition, including 5 gold medals, several honorable mentions, jury choices and many acceptances, Contest juries from Trierenberg in Austria, the German Open Circuit, Riedisheim in France, and the Dodho magazine have appreciated my work and motivated me to continue my creative work.
