Three years prior to this photograph, I experienced a spontaneous brain aneurysm rupture, followed by craniotomy surgery.
Ruptured brain aneurysms are fatal in about 50% of cases, and of those who survive, approximately 66% suffer lasting neurological deficits. Despite the odds, I persevered through three years of intensive rehabilitation—mental, physical, and emotional—to reclaim my abilities and embrace new perspectives on life.
This photograph captures a moment of triumph and resilience on my journey of recovery.
