DESCRIPTION
Marco is autistic. He's very shy and he's my neighbor. I took this photo in the stairwell, which shows a whole new side of Marco.
AUTHOR
I was born in Poland and came to Germany when I was 7. In the 9th grade, a photography course was offered at school. So I bought my first SLR camera at a flea market, a very old Zenit, and took it everywhere with me. When I wasn't taking photos, I was in the darkroom until the cleaning ladies shooed me away in the evening.
Light shapes everything and creates atmosphere.
I am so happy when I discover a special lighting mood.
Experimenting with movement is so exciting...
Capturing completely natural moments that the eye cannot otherwise perceive.
The unique expression of a person (an animal or a plant) whether big or small, young or old, a face or a body fascinates me.
Sometimes it is the stillness of the composition, the mood or the charisma of a person that I seek and enjoy.
Staging is something very special for me... when people enter into a certain feeling and I can accompany, intensify and capture it. That can also be healing.
Being able to capture and hold on to these special moments and moments fills me with great happiness!
