One Day with Aida (Single)
DESCRIPTION
Aida Akmatova is a versatile sportswoman and artist. Her specialisations include circus arts, stunting, jigging, multi-sport, equestrian shooting and jiu-jitsu wrestling.
In all specialisations that fall under competitive sports Aida has won prizes in competitions and remains a current athlete. Among many sporting events, she participated in the 3rd World Nomad Games and received a silver medal in the category of Equestrian Traditional Archery. As a circus artist Aida revived the number ‘Foot Archery’ and entered with it into the European record book of circus art.
Aida develops other competitors in her area of expertise - she judges international equestrian jig competitions, coaches aerial gymnasts, foot archers, horse archers, and teaches jigging.
The shoot is inspired by the ecstasy of nomadism, the graphics of the sport and, of course, the amazing art of the heroine herself.
AUTHOR
Photographer and designer from Moscow, working in the genre of staged photography, creating commercial and personal projects. I am interested in creating an authentic fictional world in the frame and populating it with characters with their own logic and character. I also look for these characters in the real world - there are so many stories just waiting to be told.
Areas of interest:
- Folkloristics and the structure of fairy tales;
- ethnography and history of the region;
- the history of fashion, the impact of clothing on the individual;
- societies and social institutions with distinctive and unique features;
- charisma and charismatic personalities of the past and present.
